I've just gone through a trade in which the person thought his hat cost 1 more hat from me as it was a vintage. I don't see any logic behind people's reasoning.

They say vintage items will become extremely worthy in a few months. I don't see that coming at the moment, who knows what Valve is up to anyway, so I'll wait and wonder.

If vintageness would truly mean something the game might get imbalanced, so I doubt it will ever mean something, besides prestige.

Somehow I get the feeling you're talking about me. Since I just made you an offer for your Tricorne, mentioning my item's Vintage state. I don't care about things being Vintage, but other people do or might, that's why I mention it. Besides, you said [i]any[/i] Sniper hat. If you didn't like that one, you should have specified.
