Robin has stated that all of the new hats will be introduced in further crate series to distribute them out rather quickly. It's still a hat and even I felt I was gipping the guy by giving him a crate for a hat. And all I'm asking is for two common items. It's the same as asking for two weapons for a crate, which many people seem to be doing. Also, you are right on number one. He's asking for 3+ hats for a hat that will become common as the other crate hats within the coming weeks.

I'm trading some paint and a name tag for either the grenadiers cap or the familiar fez, pm me if you're interested.
