Things he mentioned actually give on-battlefield advantage which often makes difference between win and lose, while idling leads only into cosmetic changes. Having medic support perfectly sinced with vent, or information's about sentry/spy/sniper are sometimes really priceless.

Extra buttons on your mice are now banned, not everyone has those (this includes right click, somebody might use a mac mouse)

Are you talking about having a buddy on the enemy team updating you on whats going on?
