I'd say it's the buyer's fault.

it is however, the moral responsibility of the seller to tell the buyer it is gifted, and it is also the responsibility of the buyer to check the item before trading.

Is it just me or is trading metal using steam trade completely broken? it says i only have a reclaimed when i crafted all that into a refined.

That's like saying it's the traders fault a weapon doesn't do as he expected cause he didn't check the stats.

The way I see it: If you're incapable of checking the damn trade window you shouldn't be trading at all
