Never played them either. They looked alright, at least the first few, but like you said, they are getting milked for all they're worth.

GFWL almost makes you want to pirate. I had to update/restart arkham asylum 10 times just to play it, and it convoluted me into making an xbox live account. It honestly makes me scared about microsoft's plans for pc gaming.

God, and I used GFWL to get the Fallout 3 DLC. What a fucking nightmare.

Story - Completely un-interesting. Couldn't give a shit about the characters Environments - Jack shit changed. Combat - Better, I guess. But did I really need to fight a big sister ever level? So many things I hated. The Splicers looked ugly, and didn't fit the game, the story was bloody dumb, Sofia Lamb was a dumb, dumb, dumb fucking character, no interesting hook or plot twists...

All this talk about bioshock 2 is making me sad. I never played the first one, but I got the second one. I like it I guess, but it gets WAAAAAY repetitive. Every level seems the same. Start, go to objective a, go fight big daddy for little sister, loot 2 bodies of adam, release/kill her, buy stuff, go to objective b, get sister, loot bodies, fight big sister (EVERY GOD DAMN LEVEL) and repeat.
