I got scammed out of an orbiting fire festivizer about a week and a half ago, due to fake middlemans.

I got scammed out of a brainslug about 3 days into playing the game.
I actually thought I was doing this poor random fellow a favor, and that he didn't know how much hats were worth. His pattern followed a "scam guide" I saw on the GHP thread more recently almost to the letter- ask about hat, ask what classes I play, offer weapons.
Most of them weren't very good weapons either.

Don't really do unusual trading though, it's too hard to ever do unless you're lucky/wealthy

simple solution: don't accept or do any trading if you have no idea on what they are worth
the guy isn't physically ticking the boxes for you and clicking trade
