He probably checked the price of Lost Coast, which is mentioned to be around 87€, but in reality, it's the price of the Half Life Complete Pack. It's a little misleading, so it's partially Steam's fault, mostly his tho.

I wanted to buy a cheap unusual (Fetti Pyromancer's Mask for 1-1.5 buds), so I started saving up keys. When I started, it was 18 keys per bud, and I was okay with that. I got to 15 keys by selling a bunch of my stuff, and now it's starting to get to 22 keys per bud. I'm never going to be able to fucking afford it at this rate. I might as well just unbox and see what happens.

I was about to get an Eureka Effect, when the guy suddently said "Nope, you're F2P, I know this trick" and left. NO I'M NOT FUCKING F2P GODDAMN ITEM SERVER

I'm pretty sure the prices of buds will start to drop in mid/late 2012.
