I have a problem. When I disguise the sound plays like three times louder. I'm not talking about Dead Ringer. Every time I disguise my ears suffer and it's pain in the ass, because I play Spy often. I tried to search for an answer but no luck. Anyone else have this problem or possibly a fix?

It's a known problem with lag or stuttering,everytime you disguise and you happen to lag when the sound is playing it'll get played 4 or 5 times more.
There's no real fix apart from avoding disguising in crowded areas or near an enemy spawn room,because everytime an enemy spawns and you don't have his hats/weapons already loaded your game will load them and you will stutter,causing the bug you mentioned.
Well,alternatively if you are not on a sv_pure server you could replace the disguise sound.

God dammit, I don't want to plague my main account with time gained on trade servers, but I feel as if I were to give my max set to my alt and go on a trade server, people would think I am a stolen goods marketeer.

No it's not a new issue,I've had it since I bought tf2 in 2009,it's just that as time passes valve adds more content and makes the game heavier,increasing loading times and stuttering and of course chances to incur in that bug.
