Theory: He's going to end up getting it back as a Stock Golden Wrench that will be tradeable. he will trade it for like 20 HOUWARS and then sell the HOUWARS for real money. Then he will use that money to buy a small island in the carribean, where he will start a cocoa bean plantation. Unfortunately, the rigors of the jungle will slowly kill him, and he will wind up falling in love with one of his underpaid workers. One balmy night, years from now, he will lean to the worker- he will say, despite the fever making movement painful, that he probably shouldn't have crafted that god damn golden wrench.
Or maybe he'll just get really upset and they'll restore it like normal.
