Make Earbuds, Bill's, Maxes, And Steam Tresure hunt items droppable and craftable.
Actually, I would love it if Valve make this possible again: You use a Mac to open your Steam account you get Earbuds. You buy Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 you get Bill's Hat You buy The third season of Sam & Max on Steam, you get the Max's Severed Head, The Lughermorph and the Big Kill. Same for other promotional items, you get that game and you get a normal (Unique) version of those items.
Unlimited keys? 1. Buy 2 painted Bills for 7 keys each. 2. Sell 2 Bill's for Buds 3. Buy 2 more Bill's with 14 keys, have 6 left over 4. Rinse and Repeat?
I did this. Back when buds were 15 keys. I did once only, I profited 1 key. Was gonna keep doing it and profit 1 key each time but I found out it's harder than you think. Firstly, most people won't sell their buds for 2 Bill's. The ones who do are newbies. It's very hard .... very very hard, finding people who would trade a bud for 2 Bill's. So in all, it's not worth it. That's why I didn't bother doing it a second time. So much work finding that one buyer only to profit 1 key each time. Not worth it. Especially impossible now since people are charging 22 keys for bud.
We must revolt against this capitalist TF2 economy and create Communist one.
I'm with you comrade. Everyone go engi, he is obviously part of the working class, that or, Heavy with the Pilotka. Our symbol, Homewrecker crossed with with the HHH Headtaker. "Gamers of the World Unite!"
nvm found it
Yeah, the mann-conomy needs to die. I had hopes that Valve would have done something when that burning TC got sold. That much money for a virtual hat signals that something is very, VERY, wrong.
I don't keep up with this whole trading business. How much was the TC sold for?

Even though the mannconomy is retarded, I'm still sort of impressed that a group of individuals, many of whom have no economic knowledge whatsoever, managed to create a somewhat stable economy with almost no assistance from Valve. Of course, with everything rising in price for no discernable reason, it's possible that the hat-conomy will sputter itself out and be slightly more reasonable.
TF2's economy is anything but stable
I don't keep up with this whole trading business. How much was the TC sold for?
I think it was like $1,000 or something.
TF2's economy is anything but stable
Almost anyone you ask will tell you a craft hat is 1-1.33 refined. For a long time, keys were 2.33 refined, very little fuss about it. An uncraftable hat is almost always .33-.66 ref. That's what I meant. The people decided this; Valve didn't say "OK, you should trade 1 refined metal for a hat you intend to craft."
With all these ups and downs it makes me wonder if this guy's in charge.
"I hencefowth declare eggs not a fwuit!"
I think it was like $1,000 or something.
Are you serious? Who is gonna buy a hat for that much money!
Actually I think it was something like $2500
I wonder if anyone bought it?

I'm not sure if it's an intentional Homsar reference, but it totally should be. There's also a guy who does a hella sweet Strong Bad voice. Someone thought he was micspamming, it was so good.
