Early figures on the new drop system - Games

Looks like I can still idle after all. We just need some sort of timer on Source Tools now.

Got 8 items yesterday, then it stopped giving me any. Gotten 8 items today, now it hasn't given me one in two hours or so. I think 8 items per day is my cap, if I get the same tomorrow then I know for sure.

I'm going to idle tonight, I'll post results tomorrow.

B - Your hours used on a previous day will affect the hours available on the next day. I will see how things go tomorrow. I will leave my blank account running constantly to see if drops will restart. I will stop my main account and resuming it again in the morning.

What do you end up doing with all of these puppet accounts, anyway? I assume you bought a fresh copy of the game just for this purpose. Because if you did, that's dedication.

As far as i can tell, they seem to be in daily blocks, last night i got 7 items, one every hour, then about 24 hours of nothing, then came home from school and had 9 new items all at one hour intervals. I needed a blank account to run the server hunter... that was before I realized I could run it with any account, but use Steam in offline mode. Anyway, now it's actually being useful.

In 4 hours i found 6 items and a Hustlers Hallmark.

So I idled 10 hours yesterday and I received 11 items.

I don't know if it was faked, but one guy found another item within a MINUTE of the first.

Does anyone know when the drop times for the week reset?

Maybe they lied to stop idlers from idling and increased the drop rate so when idlers play normally realize that now they get more item drops than before but luckily Idlers never give up and we discovered the truth! HOORAY! Or did they? :iiam:
