How are others drops today? I went two days getting 8 or 9 items both days since the new drop system's inception . Today I've received zero drops.

I idled all night, shut it off around 7AM this morning. Resumed idling again around 9AM. I received 9 drops total yesterday ending at around 7PM PDT.

A) I don't use SIM and I would never craft a weapon.
B) Possible, but I didn't look.

Probably C. I was playing yesterday, and the game told me that I found 2 items at once.
Weekly cycling restarts every week from the 1st drop you get that week, count 7 days from then.
Current record among ST users is 22 drops, and has been stuck there for several hours.

I've got 3-4 items a day then its just gone dry for the last 3 days (playing properly for like 4hours+, they all seem to get dropped in first 2 hours then nothing).

Just play normally and you'll get those weapons right quick. Of course, once the weekly cap resets.
Apparently, my bad luck as even wriggled its way into this update. Been over an hour since my last drop, and this is the first time I have idled in days.

It's by design, not bad luck. I've been playing like I normally do and haven't received a single drop. Whether idling or playing regularly, idling is dead.
I just idled for 13 hours and havent gotten anything in about 15. I guess I hit the limit too! Oh well. Wonder which day the reset will be on.
I hit my limit yesterday.. I'm 4 scrap away from a hat too.
5.2 hours since the new system came in, got a razorback, and chocolate bar... yay
