Early figures on the new drop system - Games

Pretty sure weekly cap is limited by amount of drops you receive,not amount of hours you are ingame.

I got one drop today; nothing more.

No drops today. :ohdear:

If this means my week already ran out i got 10 items..

I had 6 drops yesterday, stopped at 11:45am, then no more. I had 5:30h worth of drops. [b]Playing 1 hour a day is fine, my ass[/b]

Does this new system make any sense so far? Also I don't see how I'd be getting hats any faster. Old system got me a hat every week, almost for granted.

Weekly cap is way too low. Bad system until they fix that.

Jack's a wuss, no wonder he cries. Anyway, did anyone figure out what's the drop cap? I'm too tired to browse around and see.

I usually find an item after playing 30 minutes then it takes some time for me to find something else, so play 30 minutes the take a small break and play again for 30 minutes(2 items in 60 minutes of playing basically). This usually works for me I've played 3 hours this week and I have received 6 items (I've been busy playing Bully & Max Pain 2 too so I didn't play much).

I think (well... hope) that everyones cap has been cut so short this week because valve are screwing around with the medals, putting a hold on drops. Hopefully once the medals are fixed the drops will resume until it reaches the real cap.

That better be true, sigh.

As I said before, i started idling on my 2nd account at 1pm [~9h ago] and it received 5 drops, last one at 5:40pm. There hasn't been any new drop in 3 hours. It really looks like the cap is at 5~6 drops/hours, and not that the drop system is turned off.

i got 9 drops after idling for a night, and got 2 items from normal playing before i started to idle this was before the 28th april update though i'd say the max number of play time hours that will still give you drops is around 11 hours or so

I cant believe I only got 10 items this week. It's getting ridiculous. I went from 1 hat a week to 1 hat in (hopefully) 8 weeks.

I've been on the server for 13 hours now, still nothing. And the last time i got anything was the day after the new system came out, and that was one shitty jarate. This system is worse than the other one.

I got a Cloak & Dagger, Natascha and The Sandman on Thursday. After that I've got nothing, takes the piss cause I'm so close to hat.

i was idle for 2 hours and got 1 item.

So when does the weekly cap reset? Every wednesday?

I've had 7 items since the reset. It stopped around 2 days ago.

basically if we're still planning to idle, just do it once a week and for at least 12-13 hours everytime you idle

I've been idling for ~10 every single day since the "reset", and only got 6 items the day of the reset. Nothing else. Fuck you Valve.
