Am I the only one that feels like this update is suffering from the fact that pretty much everything in it was in the Emporium a few months ago? I'm just looking at all of this stuff and I'm like "Yeah well I've seen this already about fifty times in the Emporium with over 500 winners rated to it, what's new?"
Does anyone else have this problem?
which is why this is awesome for me, as I never visit the Emporium
Guys Guys Guys Gus
I was idling and someone joined me.
Hahaha, these are so well done, and I love how they fit in really well with the artstyle, even for being a themed update. Good job, hope to see them in the game

I have the opposite, they got me excited for the great items, I couldn't wait to get nappys Biodome thing, I want it ingame on my medic now, I love it!
Am I the only one with problems viewing the firstperson for the Mutation 2 hands? they show up in DX80 (and clips with the normal hands), but in DX90 they are invisible.
Wait what, they don't even show up in Thirdperson for me!

They shouldn't be visible in first person view at all, the reason why also causes them to disappear in the loadout screen and class selection screens. During actual game they should be visible on the world model.
It's not working/ is this supposed to happen.

Yeah all this does for me is make the shield disappear. Has anyone got the Mutation 2 to work in first and or third person?
Muhahaha [lightning crash] it lives (thx firefox)

Someone contacted me with the same problem yesterday but after waiting a while, it went back to normal. It's always worked fine for me in Firefox.

well, did some research with the help of mods I have installed, and I've finally found out just how to make one hat mod replace another. first download a mod for the hat you have and want to replace. (in my case the safe'n'sound) NOTE:this mod MUST replace the model of the hat, so be sure it's a remodek and not just a reskin. next download the hat that you want to replace the original hat with (in my case the toolshed terror) and go into models/player/items/*classnamehere*/. once you do that, open the mod that replaces the hat you have. go into the same place in that file, and look at the file names. whatever name they have in common (in my case engy_earphones) and copy it. (so if you want to replace the engy's gibus with the TT you go into a gibus mod and look at the engy's name for the model, which has 6 files: engy_domination.mdl, engy_domination.dx90.vtx, engy_domination.dx80.vtx, engy_domination.sw.vtx, engy_domination.vvd and engy_domination.phy. in this case you take the engy_domination and copy it) once you do this replace the model name of the hat the mod you want would NORMALLY replace with the model name of the you want it to replace. (in my case, once again engy_earphones)
as a step-by-step if that was too confusing,
1) Download two mods, one for a hat you have, and another that looks cool but is for a hat you don't have.
2) go into model/player/items/*classnamehere*/
3) look at the files and see what each one has in common.
4) type that, and then copy it using ctrl+c
5) go into model/player/items/*classnamehere*/ for the hat mod you want
6) take the files in this location replace what they have in common with what the files for the hat you have had in common
7) extract the folders in the mod file as you would normally
8) enjoy your DIY hack of ahack!
waoh this is one long post o_0

You also have to open the .mdl file with some HEX editor and rename the file path there too.

Kinda disappointing to see that a lot of the references are going right over the guy's head.
Personally can't wait for day 3 to arrive, this thing is amazing and me wants moar. Also, I just noticed that in the cellar there's a mystery locked room, first surprises incoming! :D
