Valve have said that they plan to release it to the public, but nothing has come of this yet...

they are waiting until they finish making the "Meet the..." videos because they don't want official looking fakes to get out. That pyro one is noticeably fake but still really good though.

How did you get the stuff to show up?
Extract the materials and models from the Sourcesdk.gcf and put the appropriate files and folders into your Garry's Mod.
So are the character sources released or just the items from Meet the Sniper.

These models should [i][b]not[/i][/b] be used in maps where they can be seen at incredibly close range! Why?
- Most of these models are incredibly high-poly, the Camper Van alone towers with a [b]29,775[/b] polycount.
- These models were made for high-quality filmmaking with software we don't have yet, so it goes without saying that these props, none of them, have a LOD. This also means none of them have collisions.
- If you have a crap computer, these models aren't for you. At all.
[b]Bonus tip![/b] Only the FOAD and Headshot signs can be set as prop_static. All others [i]must[/i] be prop_dynamic.
I might optimise the van and maybe the other models. Would anyone be interested in seeing that done?
(Mostly the textures, I mean. Check out the van, it uses like, 8 textures or something. And that's NOT counting normal/exponent maps.)

You must have the SDK installed (They are located in SDK gcf not TF2 gcf.), and they should be located in props_movies.
