The furry fandom is into pretty much any animal there is.
You're just seeing the more common stuff, I have seen too many disgusting sprays to think there is anything sacred to the internet.
Wasn't there somewhere where Superaldo or one of his friends said they were making a four team game mode or something like that?
That would explain the green/yellow colored classes.
Also, they are making both circus and animal class skins.

That said, in the post you quoted you are creating offense, there's no insult there, it's already been made clear the circus freaks and the animals are different teams.
If it is 4 teams, though, I'd be surprised. They'd need to make at least 3 maps to go with the mod for it to be used anywhere. It would be far too ambitious a project, too.
Two full team conversions + maps + 4 team game dynamics = hellstorm of work
