basicly the cheaters are murderers and non-cheaters are normal people the murderers (cheaters) have killed some1 and have go to prison, and are saying that the normal people (non-cheaters) should be in prison with them too!

They made them to be rare so hats kept their value. If everyone had one, it wouldn't really matter to anyone because everyone would have one.

Regardless of whether or not Valve's hat system is flawed, you idlers used an external program, which is against the rules. Yes, those who still idled without using an external program are just as bad, however Valve has a harder time keeping track of such players, and assumed by dealing out punishment such as this would cause players to cease idling altogether, and actually use the system as it is intended. (Playing the game for an extended period of time to gain hats without any idling whatsoever) Whining, protesting, and discriminating against those who didn't use external programs isn't going to do anything except make the game less enjoyable for others who are playing. Play the damn game and earn your hats legitimately.
