I always find it odd when a sniper gets a headshot on me when I'm Scout, while zigzagging, and there's 2 Heavies behind me.

zigzagging isn't that great against snipers
Most of them will just predict which way you're going and shoot there

It usually takes 2-4 Ambassador headshots to kill someone
I tend to try to get a headshot only to help my team. If an annoying scout comes in, I dont bother. Too low health, too fast. If I play sniper, I hate to have other snipers around. Same with spy. So I end up playing demo/soldier after bout 2 minutes of playing.
Then again, I am used to bf2's body+long pistol trick.
92% health taken in the game from body shots. That and 360 degree backstabs don't help. Good thing the sniper IS the spy in BF2.
Apparently, any sniper who uses the sniper rifle is an unskilled idiot who needs to gtfo..

I make a point to cockshot since I have the Huntsman so it's very obvious.
I thought you get 2 points instead of 1 for a headshot.
I always go for bodyshots because my internet is shit which means 90% of all headshots miss.
No, it's not my aim, as I can headshot the tf2 bots fine.
Because it does more damage, it makes you look like you have no aim, and if you never learn to headshot and all you do is bodyshot it's not going to give you very good rep. as a sniper.

I make a point of taunting bodyshot snipers all the time I get kills on them.

Bodyshots need to charge in order to kill anyone not already near death, while headshots can kill or almost fatally wound damn near anyone as soon as you scope. So, theoretically, a Sniper that can pull off headshots regularly is more efficient than the one who waits for charged shots by [i]miles[/i].
That's how I've always interpreted it, anyway. I usually don't encounter the situation much, since I can usually only enjoy playing Sniper as a frontline piss-throwing caveman.

Well I don't really go for headshots, I just hate it when I kill someone and they say "WOW BODY SHOT LEARN 2 PLAY SNIPER"
I go for a headshot if it presents itself nicely, and usually miss. My aim with the rifle in this game is wretched, and I have no problem taking the 'less skilled' shot that still ends up killing that annoying, slightly injured, Medic that is single handedly keeping his team in one piece.

I bodyshot weak classes and try to headshot the healthier ones in the rare occasions I play sniper. Love to piss off headshot elitists.
It just shows a lack of skill.
It's kind of stupid though.

Might not be polite, but it is true. and saying the trouth is polite. So the sniper is polite

Speaking as a frequent sniper here, I don't mind wether someone bodyshots or headshots, only I find it's MUCH faster and the crit sound whenever you get one is quite rewarding in itself.
Bugger people who think you HAVE to get headshots, though.
