Then we have different semantics of "cut-off date". For me, cut-off date is the last day of whatever, but is still part of the whatever :p
Fair enough. Also, the guy you were quoting wasn't implying that he was close or anything, he was just stating that he was so far away from the date.

The arm is gonna pick up metal and dropped weapons and upgrade and or repair buildings in the vicinity
I got the play date of Oct 9, shouldn't I have the...prime...whatever badge?
Also, the guy you were quoting wasn't implying that he was close or anything, he was just stating that he was so far away from the date.
Considering he had to specify "AFTER" the date change, and his play date, I felt like he was one of those SPUF whiners who don't understand dates.
You guys are picked out the hard-to-notice stuff in the video (arm x-ray on the board, robotic head things in the background) but does no one else think it's significant that the Engineer is wielding a blow-torch?
It is significant but we know valve puts everything in the hidden details in the video. They wouldn't just throw it rignt in your face.
http://www.teamfortress.com/119/comingsoon.html hope im not late
Holy fucking shit on a stick. I just died in excitement.
Everyone is hyped about the video, but what about the screwed up hitboxes and spy's cloak that doesn't work?
That welding torch model is too detailed and engineer-made looking, but the hammer is pausible too. That and the ''It's your turn'' line have led me to believe that we get to vote for what we get. And the repiar nod may not be the repair node anymore, maybe it's just the same model.

Arm should be an unlock. Taunt kill should be Iron man like laser.
I got the play date of Oct 9, shouldn't I have the...prime...whatever badge?
No Tim, if you'll look on the 119 page you'll see all times are GMT, so probably the time you got it in your timezone was actually Oct. 10th in GMT time. Just my hypothesis.
COOL StORY LAD
Blue prints of robitic arm and leg Engineer working on pyro's flamethrower. .. .... ..... Pyro is a robot

I have the Primeval Medal and I like the gold one better because it's more noticeable. I wasn't even in the beta either. Oh well.
Sorry, but it says Oct 9th on my badge
Did you not understand anything I said? Because it says on the medal section of the 119 page "All times are GMT" it leads me to believe they handed out medals according to the GMT time you played at. So for example if you played at 8PM PST on Oct 9th, then it would be 3AM GMT Oct 10th, and you would get a gold medal instead of a beta. But like I said, I have no clue if this is correct or not without knowing your time on your medal.

wait, you've got a gold medal, like you're supposed to. What are you complaining/asking about? The cutoff time was probably 23:59:59:99 October 9, 2007, which you're inside. You're supposed to have gold, not silver.
