The old version was met with much praise.
I didn't really plan on giving him a cracked lense this time round, last time it was just that because it was a heavy/demo/medic item there wasn't much difference between the Demo's version and the Heavy's, so it was a good idea at the time and it worked well.
Right now I'm unsure who we will give it to, I was going to suggest to Ronin about giving it to engie instead of medic (so it's defence classes hat) as medic already has a stalhelm now.

I've also had a go at redesigning your patterns so they aren't so busy. If this thing was real, and it had such patterns, they would probably be single colour embroidered. I think these designs communicate a lot better, feel free to use them.

This may be a bit late, but I think you should skip the straight tube at the end of the nozzle. Just go straight from the segmented part to the cylinder. Maybe you could add a little detaily thing at the top of the cylinder to make a smooth transition.
