honestly it's not the quality that bothers me it's the fact that an item changes the appearance of other items. It was fine for the deus specs, and it's fine if all you're doing is repositioning to fix clipping, but when you start making your head work with other heads through silly gimmicks it's just weird.

I was discussing something on the lines of how this should work yesterday, as I had the idea of having the 'Deadly catch' a misc rather then a shield. (it's still a shield)
If a mod is going to effect another model it should at least have a consistant style in how it effects it, much like how the eyes were the same design wise for sore eyes/deus specs.

That's what we're attempting to the best of our efforts, Personally me and both sparkwire would hate it for if this got ingame that the masks would be completely imcompatible because one wasn't up to snuff, so we'd love to improve it, but none of you seem to help except saying: "Trash it"

I believe the main thing is we like what you're doing and I'd love to do it with the beak should I get the chance.
But the aspect style doesn't feel right as you're effectively having the requirement of two hats to form one, while the others are a comical combination of two.
I'd much rather have the visor shattered (maybe a touch of blood to imply something bad happened) and the default aspect behind the visor.

Because of the Deus Specs/Sight for Sore Eyes, primarily. The Aspect and the Facade were silly, but the former actually made sense.

The idea is that we wouldn't be restricted to only using lense and glasses items, and instead could also use head replacing items with another head replacing item cleverly and make it so that we aren't held back.
The only issue is. overtime wont you need to make more models to replace the eventual extra eyes/glasses?

The better thing would be to allow exceptions where you can define compatibility with the equip regions.

They're vertical because they take up less space that way. "Workshop" is a relatively long word, and I didn't want to stretch out the post or take up a new line underneath the promo to add a workshop link. This way, it's easy to see and relatively unobtrusive.

The Set of items is for the Spy just so you know, but it's genious and myfriend is rather proud of the originality of it.

There is no requirement anywhere for supporting future items. It would be nice, but you shouldn't discount the support it offers simply because it doesn't support everything ever now and forever.

Well, somewhat I agree. In Dota 2 the Butterfly is a sword so I had to do some mind-play to convert it into a butterfly knife. But for the Axe I tried to stay as close from the original artwork as possible, I could have added some brush strokes on the handle I guess.
I haven't much to say about the Iron branch, I was too lazy (and short on time) to uwrap the UV properly so the texture looks meh.
However, I put a lot of effort into the Ultimate orb.

The glowing material is animated so it looks as if the inner orb is alternatively turning white and yellow.
As for the Monkey King Bar, I made it as a perfect copy from Dota 2 at first, but then I decided it would look and feel better if I reshaped it to look like a bat. The result on the Workshop artwork feels convincing to me. Plus the $selfillum on the yellow drawing makes it one of my favourite items.
Don't worry, the upcoming items will be better.
