I got bored in my math class today so i drew a medieval scout set:

Helmet/Hair/Eye-patch = The Hurricane's Hoplite
Shoulder Guards/Belt/Sheathed Sword = The Guard's Gear
Hermes Boots/Gauntlets = The Messenger God
Really Generic Sword = The Glorious Glaive
Try and guess my inspiration for this set.
I'm already remaking my Hermes Sandals I made way back and uploaded to the Workshop in October of 2011 :v: It's actually part of an entire Hermes set.

The weren't really planed to be Hermes boots, more like knight greaves with ornamental wings on the sides.

I must admit I love modelling these. I have a few parallel projects but this one takes so much time that I have spent more time on it than spent time playing Dota 2 and TF2.
I'm learning with each model, so I try to be each time faster while keeping the same quality (which is unbelievably hard in fact).
Some items also inspire me more than others, I loved working on the Butterfly or the Vanguard, but the only reason I made the Iron Branch was that the majority of people on Reddit requested it for the lulz.

I'm surprised that no one has already make that model in TF2. the machete is a c_model, so making a v_model is useless (unless you have some script files, and yet, it'll only work on local).
Make sure your model is named c_machete.mdl and is in models/c_models/c_machete/ (there is one more subfolder with c_models)

I tried that. the c_models are just the weapon models (not including the hands). so when I do that it screws everything up. plus the w_model shows the sniper's hands. :/ do you know by any chance what the script file is called that you can make the weapon use a diff v_model? css has one but I cant seem to find one for tf2.

You need to animate the sniper's c_model hands which is located in the c_model folder.
