The knife is unique, I think. It's a stiletto with a similar color scheme, but the shape and feel is completely different. The Fedora is [I]really[/I] similar to the FF. You could keep it that way, AyesDyef, and link to the Soldier's Stash whenever someone complains. If you don't feel like doing that, I think simply changing the color could work. You could make it the same dark grey as the knife and gloves, I think that would look really cool.

Is this baked from a model or from a texture with a plugin? If it's the latter, you shouldn't do it from the model's actual texture. There's some unnecessary details all around the place because of it.

There's a difference between unique and gimmicky. The Flare Gun and Detonator are completely different from the Shotgun, but fit TF2's theme of everyday items realistically (more or less) repurposed as weapons. The Candy Cane is gimmicky.

Naaaaaaahh. The clever ones are funny once or twice. The less clever ones are groan-worthy from the start. All of them lose their novelty pretty quickly. I may be a pretentious twat, but I pretty much always think earthy colors are preferable over cheerful ones, so I much prefer seeing guns made of wood and metal over guns made of candy and christmas trees.

No. No. No. TF2 relies on cartoon physics and incompetence, as applied to a worn-out industrial environment. Idiotic mercenaries blasting each other to gratuitous showers of gore with makeshift weaponry fits the game. Idiotic mercenaries blasting each other into gratuitous showers of gore with giant candy bars doesn't.
Those are my opinions, anyway.
