Of course I'm gonna host the next one. It will have blackjack and hookers.
Here's an idea: Learn to model. It really isn't difficult. If I can do it, anyone with a computer can learn to use Blender. Most people will recommend 3DS Max though.
It's funny. Because you're late. I already have 3DS Max, Maya, and (for some reason) Blender, I'm in school for 3D modeling, and I hope to one day get a job as a game designer. For some reason, Source SDK doesn't want to work with me.
You're in school for 3D modeling ? Besides a few tutorials, and tons of help from people leagues above me I'm self taught.

So uh what models have you made?
Can we have a pic of the pack with the rocket in it from another view angle? Then we can give some good advice.
Very well, here's another picture:

Fuck yar! Self-taught FTW
So uh what models have you made?
Nothing TF2 related because I can't decompile any goddamn player models to work off of.
/Source SDK

It's funny. Because you label me as late when you have no record of showing us your work. Most people will agree that Source is disagreeable in making stuff for it, but please, rather than complain, make it work.

Hmm, perhaps add another strap on it similar to the one near the top of the back of it?

I never asked for tf2 related models. Just show us any models you have made in general.

More straps? Ah, the anime approach. I'll give it a go

I'm not complaining. You were the one who complained at me to stop requesting and go learn to model. I complained as to why I couldn't. Simple. Anyway, not like I can do anything tonight, have work to do. Maybe this weekend me and the SDK will come to terms enough for me to actually do something.
I never asked for tf2 related models. Just show us any models you have made in general.
Nothing compared to what you guys can do. All I have on hand right now is a mock Super Smash Brothers logo that I used a 2D base for, no color. You want a picture of that?

Well technically, you don't complain "at" someone. You complain "about" someone. And please, go ahead and show us some of your work. It doesn't have to be TF2 related.
Anime approach of more straps worked pretty well! Thanks, Kaymon!

I feel as though it's still missing something.. any other ideas?

The Smash sign is stupid looking and it's a huge waste of space and time for you to see this but whatever
Oh yeah and there's no smoothing looks like it

I was actually thinking another belt going the same way as the first, just under it.
But screw that, this looks way cooler.
Okay, so I'm trying to work on jigglebones for an item and I've almost got it down. Right now, the jigglebones move the way I want them to, but while in motion, the bones will reset to the ref position at random, them move again. Am I using the wrong ref file or what do I need to do so that it continues moving the jigglebones like they should, instead of resetting to ref then moving agian?

Have you even tried modeling the Phoenix Wright hair? It doesn't even matter if you can't get it to work ingame. Just try modeling it at some point in time rather than nagging all modellers who see your post.

If only there were some sort of compromise...

Seriously, there are so many straps. By the end of this, it'll look like something out of Castlevania Judgement

Because i'm still in school, I actually PLAY TF2 instead of using it as a way to make money, and I'd like to take any shortcuts I can. If I had time I would. I don't. If I could figure out how to decompile right I could use this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58089550/gm_construct0001.jpg until someone makes something better by removing the ears, sideburns, and repositioning. And then I could stop my wanking.
Hold on a tick...

Hmm... Ah! I got it! How about something like this...

Straps arranged like that so that enough of the back is occupied by them to make it look interesting and then adding pouches to the sides of the backpack?

I might do it again with even higher poly, or do you guys think that's enough detail?
I haven't added the holes or string yet.

Hmm I'm a bit curious, does anyone know how to integrate a glass of Peach Bellini for the Heavy?
