So you guys think they are really doing a major update this close to Halloween? They always give a big update slightly before Halloween, probably in about two weeks. You gotta remember it's Valve we're talking about here. They're not doing anything big within 2 weeks of each other.

Maybe having so many polygons on one screen can crash the game, and they're introducing the 8-bit update to fix it.
