TF2 has a very unique artstyle, and the point of the game isn't to win, it's to have fun. If you have fun with X or Y weapon, you WILL play better than a trully optimised loadout, and you'll be happy in the end. I always use sets, not because they reward you, but because my character looks good, and i'm having fun. For exemple, the grodbort set. Why would you use the cow mangler and the bison together ? Because it's fun to be captain laser. That's why. Fun > Victory.

Fun > Victory.[/QUOTE] I actually took the fun factor in consideration, but the bootlegger didn't make much sense to me, since it does not appear in first person view. Just thought about this, do you think they could add first person legs like in left 4 dead 1?

Maybe a modder could try tweaking with Source and working out how the firstpersonlegs thing worked in L4D? I also wear the Proof of Purchase in most of my defense-based loadouts, since to me the PoP has a sort of "hunker-down" vibe, making me look more like a defender. And likewise I wear my Spiral Sallet for most Offensive/Speedy loadouts. Also Demo has way too few explosive secondaries. Sure Demo's a tricky class to balance, but I still think that they could have some time and effort to invest in new explosives for our favourite Scotsman. Here's hoping for a Hyper-Explosive (but reasonably balanced) Highlander's Halloween, eh?

Usually I have Scottish Resistance, Loch n Load and the Caber... Probably a bad loadout to some of you but whatever.
