Here's an achievement idea
"Contributor Crusher"
- Dominate a player equipped with a self-made or community item.
There's enough people these days with sparkling items that it wouldn't be impossible to get, but would still be an achievement worth going for.

A possible problem with that is some servers like Dodgeball servers can give players self-made varients of weapons like a self-made Flamethrower that has less airblast cost and regenerative ammo. Of course they only use the weapon on the server and not in there backpack but that may be an issue.

they could probably make it so only people who have the item in their backpack would actually count. I'm sure they'd figure it out.

I'd probably end up helping players get that one more than I'd like to. I am not a good sparkle soldier. :(
We really are due some new achievements though. I mean, I imagine there'll be some Halloween ones, but we need some more general ones. It's not as if there's no content left to pull achievements from.

There'd be like a thousand players with the achievement within a week just from me alone lol
It would be fun if it showed who you dominated in the achievement (like L4D does for mutations), so you can make a little game with it, trying to dominate everyone who has a sparkly item.

Crossbows are held a lot like Sniper Rifles and reloading in TF2 has never made a lick of sense so it'd be perfectly fine for flipping a switch to replace the bolt.
I would love that entire Van Mundy set be made official. And i think using the Sniper Rifle animations would be okay, with a tweak or two on the first person reload and whatnot.
I mean, they did it for Medic's syringe gun animations. Why not Sniper?

Well, I'm off tomorrow. Halloween Update that wont crash Steam tonight, please. Though I doubt it wont happen.
Sometimes I just wish updates came earlier in the day.
Timezones are pretty annoying when it comes to TF2 updates. I had to wait 'till 6 in the morning to get meet the medic, and I had an exam that day.
What would be the perks and downsides to this crossbow?

You couldn't just have waited until you got home? Education is more important than video games, take it from someone who spend his entire life playing video games instead of focusing on the future.
