I have never even heard of the ones with food inside of them, except for candy. Not sure if that counts. All I get are small spinning tops and... well, lame party hats. Oh, and fortunes! Like the ones that are inside fortune cookies! Actually, I'm fine with spinning tops, party hats and fortunes now that I think of it.
I usually get little sellotapes and rulers from them.
It could be some cool weapon that can transform into another weapon. Like it's super weak until you fully charge it then it transforms into a new, very powerful sort of gun. Im talking out of my ass of course, but something like that would be cool
I'm just going to leave this here: Dumpster pack has a buff banner and a shotgun. Now think about it, you charge the buff, and once you've activated it you can use the shotgun.

I'm not sure, but wasn't it sent in a long, long time ago? I can't even remember what it looks like. If you'd provide images I'd be pretty happy.
Those last two were added because those attributes are now surfaced by the API (the API was recently changed much to the delight of Athernar and Lagg) The first one is for the existing paints, the second one is an existing generic container attribute for the following items: Ubersaw, Natascha, Sandvich, Vita-Saw, Your Eternal Reward, GRU, Amputator, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, Detonator, Conniver's Kunai, Quick-Fix, Overdose and the Wanga Prick.
well that's that then :(

But it's still decent, and it's at least as good as the spy's mafia pack. But, while I'm not a fan of everything in this pack, I must say I quite like that buff banner. It'd be a shame if it was replaced the shotgun. It would be glorious if it worked in pair with the shotgun.
inb4 the backpack is made a misc.
that would be a painful blow to readability.
that would be a painful blow to readability.
They'd make some excuse for it. Just like they make excuses for other items all the time that involve "The Art Style".
I was already kind of offended by Demoman and Soldier getting boots that weren't weapons. A backpack for Soldier that wasn't a weapon would be crazy.
I was already kind of offended by Demoman and Soldier getting boots that weren't weapons. Readability would indeed be altered.
Y'know, one thing I wonder about is "expanding the loadout" of certain classes, even though such a thing could potentially render certain classes "OP". Basically it would be adding an extra weapon slot for certain class items, the "Special" slot to compliment the Primary, Secondary and Melee slots, thus allowing a Soldier to equip a backpack/boots and shotgun, or a Scout to carry a pistol and soda/milk, or a Sniper to wield an SMG and Jarate or back-shield. There'd definitely be issues concerning conflicting mechanics, such as using Targe and Sticky Bombs, although in that case one could always do a little programming magic to make it so that the Targe fire could be bound to Shift whilst the Detonate function stays on the RMB, although it could be reversed for different playstyles. The special slot be possible with existing in-engine mechanics, like making the PDA slots available for most other classes and making some of the items fit in to PDA1/PDA2 (the technical names for the PDA slots). A bit of jiggery-pokery to the Loadout UI would be needed too, though they could easily do that in a similar way to what they did with the Misc2 slot. As mentioned before, granting extra weapon slots to different classes would surely make them a bit overpowered, even if it increases their combat versatility, though it could unlock different ways to play if done right. Another problem is that some classes don't have all that many items that are "special", like Pyro or Medic, so the solution would probably involve developing some things for them like a Molotov or something that "modularises" the Medigun. It'd require deep thought and stuff if it were to happen, so it likely never will.
Idea for a new christmas taunt... Christmas Crackers! Would work similar to the hi-five taunt.
Whoever wins it gets a free Weapon, cracker taunts drop like nametags and are 1 use only and cost £0.20 on the store. sound good?
I guess that COULD work as a serverside mod.
Oh, back again? How long're you trying to stay now?
So in terms of functionality, crackers would work kinda like the rock-paper-scissors taunt from Portal 2 only in item form. Also, a rock-paper-scissors taunt in TF2 would be kinda cool, wouldn't it?
Oh, back again? How long're you trying to stay now?
I don't care THAT much actually. Since everytime someone starts a drama I end up being the one person banned, I think I'll just stop posting in the emporium. The emporium is a place where some people think they have the right to insult other people because they have created an item for the game. As long as I stay in threads such as this one, I should be just fine.
I don't care THAT much actually. Since everytime someone starts a drama I end up being the one person banned, I think I'll just stop posting in the emporium.
Better tip: Don't start the drama. The SOMEONE is you.
Better tip: Don't start the drama. The SOMEONE is you.
Agreed, I think you'll be able to stay out of bans if you don't reply to hate posts.

Yogscast interview with Notch: "Oh yes, we talked with that one guy from Valve we played in the Highlander match. We asked him what he does there. He told us the only thing he does is creating hats." lol but... Valve only releases one or two valve made hats a month... how is that a full time job

eh... a lot of promos are made by the company. I'm pretty sure the Trine stuff was made by them, for example, because I remember them needing to figure out a way to give them to Valve to get them in-game.
