that means he coded it. There's game designers and game developers. The developers code and the designers make the UI and art assets.
He probably went on to do the same for CSS and I bet Dota gets the same thing very soon.
I don't like the idea of yet another holiday themed update. I know the majority of the fanbase asked for it, but I think australian christmas was perfect. I don't want more reskins either. I think halloween unlocks are silly enough already. I would have prefered a new medieval map and three polycount packs.
Well, at least we'll get an update.
the nice thing about christmas items is that many of them don't need to be garish and out of place year-round. A simple wool hat, mitten, ice themed weapons, etc, those are holiday themed but don't seem too out of place any other time.

I'm sorry, what I meant is: I still don't get why we would be able to wear this hat all year round when we can only wear the vampire hunter costume on full moons.
The apparition's aspect is the most themed thing ever.
I don't think I want to have christmas hats all year round though, I hate it when my neighbour keeps his decorations until february and I don't want to see that in TF2.

The reason it can be worn all year is because it is a community contribution. It would have been a big "Fuck You" to Mr. Tinder if it was holiday restricted.

I don't think so. I think they wouldn't have asked for christmas content if they already had something prepared, but since the Uber update, I never know what to expect in terms of update sizes.

Dude, we're able to wear a god damn christmas tree on our heads all year round. Why can't a ghostly head function the same way? And as said earlier in this thread, it was a contribuation so making it restricted would suck for the contributer... Even if the Rather Festive Tree should be restricted I doubt it will ever happen.
