Actually, what do you think about this whole "Make items for update" story? Do you think, that they have stats for weapons ready, but just wait for some nice models or is it going to be even more reskins? I would love the first variant, because that was, how Valve made weapons in the beginning (the ones, that were innovative). The other way round, I would rage if Valve added more reskins, because those didn't really have a good community reputation.
Also, maps. Another event map or maybe FINALLY another medieval map?

I think it's gonna be like this:
Atleast 5 or higher weapons with unique stats.
One hat ATLEAST for each class, not counting all-class.
Several reskins because they're showing that as a theme lately.
New christmas crates that can contain all the items in the update, like last year.
A new medieval mode map. Or maybe Raid Mode...please?
I think it's going to be like the Fancy Vs Nasty update again. A bunch of items from a certain fan made update, and a few others from others(oh boy medieval and halloween update weapons pls. Arbalist's Bolter for Medieval? :D)

With the whole MAKE US FESTIVE ITEMS thing this time around, it may well have a community-made update too.
And they may add a few Valve-Made items too.
Hopefully they include that Hammer and Saw in the blog image, looks like they'd make decent Engineer and Medic melee weapons.

If they are added, i'll be too scared to check the stats on it though. Because they'll probably just make them Wrench and Bonesaw reskins.
I think the soldier and pyro sets which were left out awhile ago will come at christmas too. Maybe before.
Not sure whether this will happen but I saw in the latest PC Gamer Mag (UK) that it said 11th December, time to log back onto TF2 and see what festive hats Valve have made or something along those lines, I'll try and get a pic of it up...

To be honest I was really hoping for something similar to the australian christmas update. Cover me in rainbows, but maybe we will get 3 weapon packs, a new map AND holiday reskins, since implementing reskins does not need any effort.
To be honest I think we'll indeed get 3 sets, Dumpster Pack, Garderner Pyro, and that one Medic pack.
And I'm pretty sure they'll release a map as well, probably just a reskin or some fanmade map turned official, but who knows ?

Basically he went to Valve for a make a wish thing and got to play a new game mode and also got a Community Unusual (ghosts) Spine Chilling Skull 2011. He's fine now, but it tops my list of the weirdest places we've ever gotten TF2 update info from

Oh, that's interesting. Seeing how long Valve already develops this mysterious game mode everybody calls raid mode, we could actually really get it with the christmas update - as a present.

Roblox forum definately is a weird place to find info on an fps, and don't add the kid, he's a dick.
So, since the Über update, TF2 has had a "DLC" section. You know what this calls for, right?

It was added due to premium upgrades I believe, and just for future reference, one guy moaning=/=the entirity of a large, fractured community.
I'm personally going to email Robin if they pull off reskins again.
They literally have no reason to exist. Crafting recipes solve the "pay-to-win" problem, and they already did this method with the RIFT melees.
I don't care if the stats are garbage, all games have bad items. But it's still alot more interesting to choose your loadout from a handful of unique items.
it's also dumb most reskins don't even drop and whose crafting recipe is entirely based on luck.
Using 2 weeks worth of items to gamble to get a weapon, only to get an Eviction Notice 3 times in a row is kind of bad, and really discourages people from even bothering.
they really should make the fists for purchase now
