the DH has had its own explosion sounds since its release.

I don't know if the sound of the explosion should be a universal sound. Right now you can't even tell the difference if you hear an explosion in the distance, but you should be able to identify it by sounds. That's a reason I hate that not all (non-melee/reskin) weapons have sounds. Something like the Frontier Justice has absolutely no excuse not having a unique sound effect, even worse compounded with every single other Engineer primary having unique sounds. But this is coming from the company that added the Reserve Shooter with unique sounds in the same update they added the Family Business without unique sounds. It's also frustrating having sounds in the game that are miles better than what is currently being used, and they ignore them. It's too bad the weapon sound rules are not as easy to edit as the response rules, because I think we really need a community contributor to step up and re-write the weapon sound rules like i-ghost did for voice responses.[/QUOTE] Shugo did ages ago, remember? and I'll be submitting my completely new sounds for weapons that don't have them. twirling blade draw sound would also be nice implemented. It sort of is for the Spy-cicle, but it either doesn't work or is totally drowned out by the other draw sound because I can't hear it. It could also work for Spy's other twirling knives. Shugo didn't submit his stuff to the workshop though.

Seeing as there are quite a few of them, I'll put them into a new pack rather then amongst my custom sounds.
have you looked into editing game_sounds_weapons.txt for Valve? Like add all of your custom sound names and stuff to that already and submit it so it's literally just shipping the wav files.

Before I forget, the 2 bootlegger walk sound effects. They're in the items folder, called pegleg_01 and 02. They slipped my mind earlier because I was only looking in the weapons folder.

ha, I just went down the sounds and listened to the ones that didn't seem familiar. I figured sniper_shoot was part of the stock rifle sounds. woops
is the black box shooting or exploding sound near the same as the pumkin exploding sound cause if it is then it is the one it used to have

the comic is dated 09 must have been one of the earliest drawings for TF2 that artist did, because the War was his first comic. ...not sure why this is the first time we've seen this

The guys at Valve may have liked it enough to have it displayed there, but yeah. I don't see why they haven't released it as a wallpaper or something.
