On SUF I already threw it out there I wouldn't mind marking those files for Valve's disposal, in some thread someone mentioned they were going to ask Robin about it.
I'd be willing to do it as well, if they ever went around and picked people. It's insulting to see people stealing Sexy Robot's, Sparks, SVDLs, and other people's renders and posting them on the Workshop. I can't even count how many times people have uploading a picture of Cbast's watches.
Contributions with like 20 reports should be removed from the list.

The best way to solve it would be to have active moderation by actual people, like a forum does, by trusted members from the community.
I noted on suf that I knew a lot of contributors and I have a good knowledge of who made what and coil identify stolen content easy. I think 4 or 5 people could work out well and keep the workshop clean

May be weird to bring this up, but Valve just linked [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=PjEzzwf8kTs"]this[/URL] community made Meet The Pyro on their facebook page. It may just be because they wanted to show the work to other people, but it could also make some speculation that they are in the process of making it, i know that valve 15 hours earlier said they wanted people to link them some clips.

[url]http://valvesoftware.com/jobs/[/url] You should be paid for what you do. Even if they don't have an opening related to what you are doing you should still send someone an email. Every company should have at least one person who knows the community well and communicates with them regularly to find out what needs to be done and can do something about it. If I were the head of a company and someone presented something like this to me I would hire them on the spot.
Sounds implemented with some help from Gamemaster1379. There's no way to test it in-game though... but it looks like it'll work. Valve will have to beta test it first though, which I don't mind. [/quote] except for one thing The API schema reports to backpack viewers information about the items being paintable, etc. Do you think this is something I should go and change, or will Valve handle it? They may have an automated system for it (IE, it might be synched with the client schema), but I'm not sure.

I was thinking maybe showing a few items made paintable, the googly gazer with the VRH and maybe Scout's hat being worn with the Bonk Boy (no headset though). But I'm not that good at image taking

yep, sort of like that, except maybe with pictures of the new paintable hats, and maybe Scout with his default hat on (but no earpiece) while wearing the Bonk Boy or whatever makes it look interesting and eye catching
