I hope you guys aren't used to the Pain Train being a bottle

They removed the delicious taunt ages ago.
Speaking of the Pain Train, should the Pyro ever get its hands on it?

Of course
Speaking of the Pain Train, should the Pyro ever get its hands on it?
I'd say so, considering it was originally made for Pyro.
It's kinda pointless though, the idea is to rocket/sticky jump onto the control point and quickly capture it. Pyro can't really do that.

Well, if they buff the Detonator to what it was in the beta, he could.
Barely.
is it tonight?

It is one thing for a demo/solly to blast you at arms length while 2x capping the point.
I would break my computer if a pyro could double cap whislt airblasting defenders away. It's a horrible mental picture.
I don't see why the Pain Train isn't all class minus Scout and Spy.
It could work pretty well on classes like Medic.

The Pyro compensates for that with the whole 175 HP, 100% speed deal. Not to mention, it helps quite a bit with Steel E backcaps. Also, made for it, despite Valve for some reason giving it to our favourite weapon hoggers.

Weak to bullets. Considering those cannot be airblasted away...

If I'm not mistaken, it was originally designed just to fit into the Pyro's hands, but the creator decided for it to be a Soldier/Demoman item instead. Let's go bug him about it, maybe he'll change his mind :v:
it was submitted as a Pyro weapon, Valve changed it, not the creator

I wonder what Swizzle is up to nowadays.

Asking Valve if they'll put his Medic pack in someday ? v:v:v

Cringing at the Loch-n-Load's animations. v:v:v
there's a good contributor who kind of just fell off the planet.
I expected to see more Swizzle items, but he kind of just stopped.

Moreso the rigging, he knew full well the animations didn't work

I thought he took a step back so he could focus on schoolwork. Or maybe I'm mixing him up with someone else, there are so many contributors that everyone is all a blur sometimes v:v:v
Kind of interesting to see how far we've come from the very first contribution update. As far as weapons go, the Bar creators have never got another item in, Swizzle got a Demoman pack in, and there's Laro, who we all know.
Out of all those, I think picking the Homewrecker was one of wisest choices Valve ever made, at least as far as future items go.
I will never get an item ingame.
I will never get an item ingame.
Don't say that. I got something in, and I'm pretty much completely unknown. You just gotta have perseverance.
All this talk about the Loch-n-Load makes me think back to this pack and wished it was in.

Though it having 2 Primaries and 1 Secondary is kind of funny.
at the time Demoman boots weren't weapons and I think he was just assuming they would attach the boots with the shield. I don't think those boots would even work anymore because of how the bodygroup is set up.
These days they could do it and just make the cannon not part of the set. I actually only like the cannon... that was an item I hoped they would just add one item from it rather than the whole set, but Valve is picky when adding one-off weapons that aren't melees or parts of sets.

It's simple, combine the two primaries into 1 item. I suggested that Neo make a nade launcher to go with the Bootlegger but he opted not to do that because of time constraints or whatever v:v:v
If the Junkyard Justice pack gets in, they'll probably figure out a way to combine a shotgun and battle banner into a single item so that people can use all of the items in the set at once.
I heard for Junkyard Justice they were going to have the Shotgun and Banner separate, I guess they figure there probably won't ever be set bonuses again. If they added the War Reparations I'm guessing they might just keep the 2 Primaries. (Though still I'm honestly only really interested in the Grenade Launcher because it's neat looking and not tied to Demoknight stuff) v:v:v

I only really like the grenade launcher in that pack.
the boots and the medal I don't really care for, it isn't anything special.
I recall the bracer being stupidly tiny.

Well, even if the set bonuses are abolished, there's still the set coding that shows greentext whenever the entire set is in use, which is why they made the Shortstop a primary instead of a secondary as it was intended - so the entire set could be used at once. :v:
they could just not make the shotgun part of the set, and just make it a similarly themed stand-alone weapon

The only thing in that pack I really want is the misc. The Grenade Luancher looks good too, though, and I'm always up for new explosive Demo weapons.
