there's also no email from HLDS about a planned mandatory update, so I'm not sure. I'd like to believe it would be tonight, but I think Thursday has become our default update day now.

There is no set day of the week for updates to come out on. It is usually Thursdays, yes, but not always. Major updates have come out on every day of the week, except Saturday and sunday, for obvious reasons.
