Really hoping the update hits today, gut since we have no HLSD emails yet, it will be out Thursday. Or Next week, who knows. I know they're different teams but Portal 2 and L4D2 DLC's aren't out yet too. So let's better wait and see.

I cannot wait to find out getting that napper's respite was pointless becasue I find the day-of-the-dead-themed looking sombrero, I just hope it turns out to be a style for the already existing pyro sombrero so I can get the chance to trade for it before the update comes out. And as a brony, I can honestly say you'll be spared one pony-themed badge from us. I'll probably do something 2p-start! related though, like the logo so I can get on their next postmortem.

no, I never said it was. And I meant the already existing sombrero that I forgot the name of if I did by accident. but with the economy messed up as it is, I could probably find someone willing to trade it for the heavy hat I had (well, probably not actually.) and I KNOW that no one would take the napper's for it becasue A) the black sombrero is so much cooler, so a pyro heavy player wouldn't do it, and B) a non-pyro heavy player wouldn't do it because they wouldn't want another pyro hat for it.

for the time being you'll have to look at the specific misc or hat you want.
I imagine when the update goes live in the real game, that will be something the Wiki creates

Ok, after seeing that other i went to valve thread by whoever made it, he said that stuff was planned for every month up until January 2012 i think? So today im going to make some risky guesses because im bored as fuck right now and i need something to do, plus share my guesses.
First, The Second Annual Mannconomy Update will come to pass, it will feature everything and more of the stuff featured in the leak we saw, the hats and stuff would only be the beginning, it would feature Raid Mode, a few weapon sets, and MAYBE a comic (god i hope so), and maybe 1 or 2 extra community maps to come with raid mode? this update would launch on the 30th of this month.
Second, We all know a Halloween update is going to happen, it will feature another Boss mode like Monster on another map for us to fight in, and would be released sometime Late October.
Third, there would either be a brand new Annual Update type thing to celebrate, it wouldn't be called the Thanksgiving Update though knowing that TF2 isn't just an American game, but would be released on/around thanksgiving and would be called something like "The Harvest Update" and have harvest themed items and maybe a map? That, or it would be another major promo update like the Shogun and Deus Ex ones (Maybe Skyrim or Arkham City?) .
Then, finally, a Christmas Update, and obviously we would see some Christmas themed stuff, maybe another Medevil Mode map? Maybe even it being Morrigan's Alley? it would be released around Christmas, and i HOPE it will be called the Kritzmas Update.
Then in 2012, we would see The Pyro Update 2, Meet the Pyro, and so on and so forth.
im guessing your gonna rate me rainbows, but even i think im optimistic, because im just guessing mostly for fun, but i hope these ideas are at least somewhat realistic, the most unrealistic Ive been in this giant wall of text was the "Harvest Update" idea.

I hope you're right, but I don't think we'll get ALL that stuff, probably most of it and some stuff not listed, but not quite the same amount of stuff.
