Yeah, to prevent a single troll Pyro from wrecking the entire round, the bomb would have to drop if the carrier gets airblasted. Not sure what to do about people just running the wrong way with the thing, though.

How about it blows you the fuck up after holding it for too long, and dropping it "defuses" it and can't be picked up again?

What will the Raid game type be anyway? I'm thinking of something like assault from Halo, where the object is to get the bomb to an area and arm it, then blow it up. It would be like Attack / defend Capture the Flag, with a hint of Control points and Payload. Before anyone says anything about me mentioning Halo, I never played Counter-Strike, and I'm full aware its got a "similar" gametype but I'm not sure just how similar it is.

It's: -sudden death mode. terrorist: (say, blue team, or for that matter, covenants): Spawn at tspawn. One of the terrorists has the bomb and can give it to another teammate for strategic purposes. Their aim is to plant the bomb or blow it up, or kill all counter terrorists. Both can be accomplished. As long as the bomb explodes, the round is won. C-terrorists: (say, red, or spartans, whatever) spawns at ctspawn, which generally is also a possible bombplant. they know where the bomb is. they can defuse the bomb at a given speed, which can be altered via purchasing a defusing kit (practically a paintrain, you defuse faster but it takes one slot). they have to kill all terorrists to win, or defuse the bomb, given that is has been planted, this is the priority. Why this gamemode wouldn't work in TF2: the terrorist have an advantage in the objectives that have to be completed, but this is compensed by the lesser quality of their weaponry. In tf2, no such thing exist and that would make this game mode unbalanced. In CS, there is no classes, therefore no difference in the movement speed between teammate and therefore no reason for anyone to pick anything but a scout really. Now let me explain this: on the terrorist side, there would be no reason to pick a heavy, too slow. There would be no reason in picking the spy, you know how useless he is with an intel on his back. No reason to pick the soldier or demo, too slow. No reason to pick an engie on sudden death. No reason to pick a sniper for obvious reason (range, mobility). No reason to pick a medic because of reduced mobility and lack of means of defense. No reason to pick a pyro either, same reason as the sniper, though he could be pretty good at guarding an armed bomb. I think that sums it up pretty good, though it could be a pretty good game mode CT (red) wise.

Schema updated to change all instances of TF_Wearable_Hat into just hat.
