I'm one of those guys who just launch tf2 when there's new stuff and craft the new weapons right away then try them for 2 hours then just change the launch line to idle again until the next update, in short, I got bored of TF2, if only there'd be a coop against wave of enemies style gamemode in tf2, I'd be so happy, always loved pve, specially wave type assaults.

There's no reason for them to not add both. There's no set bonuses on new sets anymore, and if there were, it'd just allow either secondary.

It WOULD possibly be a set, but it wouldn't have a bonus (They discontinued this), and you could just use either one.

Or maybe they could have it so the secondary is the buff+shotguns, and since they are made of garbage they are both somewhat weaker than the original shotgun and buff banner, making it somewhat balanced?
