Yeah, me too. I collect all the weapons, not the hats. It's a beauty to have the complete arsenal, isn't it? But when I have more than enough metal I just trade them for keys and then try to get some new Steam games.

I'm most likely buying the new weapons (if they come in a pack), and then trading my spare Stranges for newer ones if there will be new Strange weapons.

The last few major updates have had only one or two of those (GRU, Vita-Saw, Candy Cane, Jag and Detonator). So there will probably be at least one. Also all but one of those is a melee weapon.
But I really hope they add more. There's a lot of high quality standalone weapon models out there that shouldn't be ignored because they aren't part of a pack.

If, for the sake of example, someone were to make a Heavy minigun that looks decent, they might feel pressured (either by peers or themselves) to create an entire set out of it, even if the rest of the set items are sub-par.
And on the TF team's side of things, we may see full sets being accepted even if only 1 of the items are up to par. So we would see some low-quality items that have shoddy textures, odd rigging and etc.
I don't like that "all or nothing" mentality that [b]some[/b] people have subconsciously adopted. Hell, the only community-contributed weapons that I remember being added recently that weren't for a set were the Detonator, Postal Pummeler, Nessie's Nine Iron, Mantreads, and Disciplinary Action (although the MT and DA are in a set as far as the game code defines, they were not submitted as a pack).
