I'm sure the server owners like to have some forewarning so they can prepare.

I can't help but think Valve have cottened on to this thread and the HLDS update news is just a ploy to prove the communities gullibility with any tinker of information of an incoming update. They're probably having a laugh about it now. I doubt they'd lie so if there is an update it'll probably be nothing to to with additional content.
Still, we'll see tomorrow. Lets all hope I'm wrong. :v:

it's a major update, it isn't just a polish.txt update with some server commands added.

It's funny because they've said they've fixed that so many times already.
