Major Update Speculation/Recap thread

I've got a shitload of stuff to do today. Which sucks. I won't have much time to play.
It would also suck if this update wasn't [I]the[/I] update we've gotten sneak peeks at. Considering the Halloween Update comes in like 2 weeks, it's more likely than you'd think.

It wouldn't be too bad if Valve pushed updates at like 10 or 11am their time, because then it's like 3 or 4 in the afternoon and I have nothing better to do every single day at those times.

I hate the "let's push it minutes before we leave the office for the day!" attitude they have. Because their time zone is in a place where that particular time is only convenient for them and the time zone right next to them, everyone else it's getting close to night time (on a work/school night) or it's in the middle of the night/super early morning.

I'm not sure who the 5pm Valve time releases help, unless the TF2 team absolutely waits until the last possible minute to finish a task.

No, because it would take longer for the information to get from there to where you live. You will also be at the back of the download queue sine you live far away from that place.

also some bug fixes would be nice
but i got a good feeling about the update not being a complete bugfest (hatless update) it seems they actually took there time and beta tested it so it should be worth this wait
