How modified is YOUR TF2 client? - Games

Autoexec, custom (cleaner) hud, lots of skins, and a ton of those fps-helper particle effects

I keep it vanilla. It's the best. I dont like downloading every shitty skin I see to destroy the game.

HD skins,pistol sentry skin,oxide's hud.

For whatever reason, the border grounds me, and keeps me looking within the game's boundaries, but removing the border made it worse because there wasn't anything to keep me inside the bounds of the game.

Improved water and HWM jarate fix

Custom HUD icons, custom Scout and Spy, custom Ambassador, but not much else.

Custom stuff (models, particles, cfgs etc) that makes my game look like Quake 3 Arena because my computer sucks.

Fixed HUD class icons,better HUD,shugo's weapons icons. oh and animated heavy cartridges.

Just modified particles - team-coloured pyro flames. Oh, and various graphics-boosting things. And scripts for certain classes (i.e, right-clicking with rocket launcher as soldier performs a crouch-jump-and-fire, so basically I point at the ground and I rocketjump, or the pyro panic button, etc)

High-FPS config (makes everything look like shit but you don't really notice it while playing) Shotgun reskin Used to have a minigun reskin+resound, but uninstalled it because the new update broke the animation and also the sound hurt my ears (it was twice as loud as the normal minigun). Nailgun reskin of pistol Handcannon reskin of Ambassador Deagle reskin of Revolver XCR reskin of SMG And assorted sound replacements, such as remixes for the gamestartups and Magnum force noises for critical hits. [editline]11:29AM[/editline] The ding-a-ling noise is now a laser sound - it's less obnoxious, doesn't make me deaf when playing pyro, and sounds cooler.

176mb of materials, three custom models (4slot grenade launcher, jiggleboned peejar and sniper rifle), 114mb of custom sounds (many of which edited by myself) and an adjusted hud etc. I like tinkering.

BTW, using fps_max (high number) is a bad idea. If your FPS gets over 70 or 80, it can cause graphical errors that make the game look like it has about 20 or 30 FPS. Just wanted to throw that out there.

DP's pack, the Real KGB, that 4-slot Grenade Launcher... Some other crap... Mainly fixes and things I think make the game look better. Yes, I know DP's pack isn't a fix, but it makes the game slightly more realistic in terms of not-being-palette-swaps.

I only have a high end config thing. I doubt that counts. I feel like trying the beta look a like skins though. I really like them.

Scripts/fpsconfig + custom HUD + add-on to auto-record mp_tournament 1 matches only for me.

Not much at the moment. I'd use custom skins and models if more servers didn't have consistency on them.

Some hat replacements, some sounds, and that new PKM type thing for Sascha, but that's it.
