Frying Pan and Ellis' Hat coming to owners of Left 4 Dead 2 - Games

Do you actually have to play a bit of L4D2 to get these or something? You know... fire it up to the main menu or some bullshit (I've encountered that in the past).

Have anyone received them after reaching their weekly item cap?

I didn't get them yet, didn't pre-order the game, bought the pack a bit before The Passing. :v:

I'm a preorderer and I just got mine about 10 minutes ago.

Bought mine a little while after the game was released. No Cap & Pan yet. I wonder if I need to play L4D2. Haven't played it for months.

Just got mine. Haven't been paying attention, but... I'm disappointed that it only works with Soldier, because there's just no way I'm giving up my Equalizer for the pan. The hat looks cool. I'm using it on Pyro with Whiskered Gent.

According to TF2b, the frying pan is in my backpack and the Ellis cap is waiting to be dropped. I'll go in-game and see if I get them.

Steam was down most of this morning and when it came back up, I got them as soon as I died.

Doing some research the code that delivers out hats and frying pans gives them out to a single player every 15 seconds. Which means 240 people an hour will be served 5,760 a day 40,320 a week and it will take 24.8 days for a million people
