After 3 Years, Only 1 Hat - Games

I've had quite a number of hat drops, my latest being a couple days ago. Got the dr's dapper topper. :buddy:

I had to craft my first two hats, which I then smelted together for my awesome Brigade Helm, then I traded for the Mining Light and ended up with a drop of that white helmet for the demoman. Just stock up on dupes and slowly amass a few tons of refined, hat drops are so rare it's basically ridiculous.

I've been playing since June '08. Although I haven't played much after hats were released (until now, that is), I've never gotten a drop either. I have 2 hats, both through trading. I'd say since 08 I've gotten a few thousand hours into TF2, and a solid 500 since hats were released, and no drops.

i haven't got any hat drops since the system was in place, only items like l4d2 or the halloween things.

I only have standard, shitty hats everyone already has, like the Gibus, Parasite and Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask (or something). Not A SINGLE FUCKING HAT FROM DROPS. :crying:

I've had 3 hat drops. One of them was a Nappers Respite after the update tho, and after everyone found out how useless it was. I rage crafted it and got a kabuto.

I don't have any class hats. :saddowns:

I got a Towering Pillar drop on my 400~th hour. Now i feel like an asshole

I started playing since January. It took me 300 hours to get my first drop hat. It was a mining helm.

I have 1 hat. I got it from trading.

My first hat drop, around 160 hours, was a RESPECTLESS RUBBER GLOVE. Then, i dropped a BRIGADE HELM (fu-). I crafted an Otarylhowthefuckiscalled mirror and smelted it to get a Bloke's Bucket hat. ._.

I got 1 hat drop per week over the 3 weeks before trading. Before that, I had only found 1 hat drop ever, and I've played for 3 years. Very strange.

Only hat that dropped for me was a Towering Pillar. :v:

I was in the same situation until about two weeks ago, when I had a Trophy Belt drop. Still the only random hat I've gotten, though, the others have all been crafted, traded, or crated.

My first hat was a drop, no hat drops after that (it was around the Demo update). I now have 11 hats (excluding Gibus, Para, Halo). I don't care how many people have it, Old Guadalajara is an awesome looking hat.

3 hat drops and I play since april

I've given away all my hats away to the Poor and Irish for free, and I only have 3 hats left. Just gave a Facepunch member a hat, and yesterday I also gave a hat, crate, paint, and nametag to another Poor and Irish. So, who has no class hats? First reply gets one.

I desperately need Scout hat, but give it to someone who is really Poor and Irish. I will find one for me on some trade server.

My first item drop ever was a hat, on my second day of playing.

Valve thinks I'm obsessed with soldier, because out of 4 hat drops I had 3 of them were soldier hats (2x Killer's Kabuto (in a row) and a Sergeant's Drill Hat) and the other was a Ritzy Rick. But the only pre-crafting hat I had was that bald sniper. I hated it, but then crafting came and I made a brand new Texas Ten Gallon. :3:

gibbus was my only drop

I only found one hat, bald engy . Which I crafted with Pyro's beanie (Gabe gave me this one :v:) to get a camera beard. I did find a nametag this week though :buddy:
