4.83gb ram usage? I still only use 2gb and I run the game at max settings with mat_picmip at -5, and that's still only using up about 80-90% of my ram. mat_picmip -10 just tips past 2gb...
Where are they getting that insane number from? Does the game consume more ram on Vista / Win7 or something?

I recall reading some time back that disabling the page file, even with excessive amounts of ram present, can still cause issues with some programs (not exactly sure on the details). So I've just avoided doing that.

Guys, I'm pretty sure when the thing says "cache size," it's talking about the GCF (Game [b]Cache[/b] File) and not the memory footprint.
32-bit operating systems don't even support more than 4 GB of RAM.

He said the joke went over your head. That picture was edited from filesize to RAM because people complain about not having enough memory to run TF2 even though my mom's old laptop with 1gb of RAM can run it just fine.

I have two GB of ram and I have to bind a key to mem_flush and press it every five minutes or else it goes "nope" and dies.
I have a 64 bit OS with an amazing graphics card and all that crap; my TF2 crashes and my Fallout's really slow.
Is this mods? Or is my computer somehow still not good enough?!

Heavily modded game here, 3 gigs of ram, windows 7 home premium with a fairly new NVIDEA grpahics card. Runs fine on maxed-out settings.
