Anyone idle but didn't recieve any reward/punishment?

My account didn't get flagged but I got my idler items removed, as well as half my "legally" (apparently) obtained ones and didn't get a halo.

I didn't idle and I have no punishment or halo.

I idled for a few hours one day after the classless update, got nothing but duplicates and deleted them and got nary a flag nor halo.

Oddly enough someone I know who hasn't played for well over 2 weeks and never idled never got a halo.

I thought they only removed the items of people who used the idle program, and that normal idling in a server was just fine with Valve.
