There have been so many times I've been stabbed and sapped by like 2 spies who are complete failtards individually and had my teammates buttfuck them like 0.2 seconds after, but still lose 50 seconds of base set up.
At least this way my buildings have a chance if that happens, it's really annoying that a shit spy can ruin an engy base even if there are like 5 people guarding it.
I really hope they remove the homewrecker change. Pyro's is not engie, he doesn't know how machines work!
It doesn't take much to realise.
Big electrical thing destroying sentry = bad.

Personally I find the homewrecker modification to be more or less ridiculous. Spy is a hilariously difficult and situational class to play with already, and adding such a buff certainly does not improve the situation.
If you see a pyro you're fucked anyway.

I saw a pyro and fucked it anyway.
Just played a couple of rounds as Homewrecker Pyro. It feels like an immensely powerful weapon to wield now.
Though I'll probably go back to the Axtinguisher.
Even with this buff, I still think all the other classes are going to get something in the engie update so the game doesn't turn into 24/7 turtlefort/turtlebine for over a week. So hopefully something that levels out this buff for those spies who are against skillful Pyro teamplayers.
Because that would be bad preparation on valve's part.

Hopefully all the unlocks promote offensive engineering, so there will be less turtling engies.

I crafted my homewrecker yesterday. Well shit.
Pyro has become the ultimate team-aid class (next to the Medic).
He lights Snipers' arrows, he extinguishes teammates, he airblasts away sticky bombs, he spy checks for engies, and now he can get rid of sappers.
Gotta love the Pyro. :3:

So? If you were lit on fire before, you were already screwed. If the Engineer had another Engineer to watch his back, your sappers were already screwed. It's called teamwork. This just gives Pyros more incentive to help Engineers out, a job he's been able to do since the beginning.

The spy is probably gonna get a community item that lets him indirectly destroy engy buildings.
