Sapper shooter?
EDIT: What about a sapper thrower like in meet the spy?
Damn it, I crafted my homewrecker a few days ago.
The spy is probably gonna get a community item that lets him indirectly destroy engy buildings.
Maybe some kind of electro-dart, it will take longer to kill a building than a normal sapper would, but it's fired sort of like the flare gun. That way the spy can sap from a hidden position and not risk being killed.
AHAHA.
I had that exact idea for Homewrecker, but nooo people called it OP towards Spies and that it would never happen. :v:
Well, it IS op towards Spies, but it still happened.
Please, don't remind me.
Today I saw an enemy sentry, "Sapping time" I thought. I could tell the engineer I was facing was quite frankly, an idiot, so I walked over to his sentry, started sapping, and he waddles up to his sentry trying to take away my sapper, but it was too late, he was already dead, for I am a decent spy. Well then a Pyro comes to the sentry with his Homewrecker and starts banging away at it. I figure I don't even need my disguise for this one so I go up to him and am about to backstab him.... just to get a barrel full of rockets in my face....
TL;DR: SecretGamer saps sentry then kills its engineer. Pyro goes to sentry and bangs it with homewrecker, taking off the sapper and sending a barrel full of rockets at SecretGamer. SecretGamer became sad :saddowns:
They buffed Homewrecker.
They never directly nerfed spies :v:
The homewrecker was a terrible idea to begin with, buffing it was kind of pointless. Now all it does is one hit sappers and ruin stab-sap attempts.
Now Pyro is a direct counter to Spies once more. Oh my
The spy is probably gonna get a community item that lets him indirectly destroy engy buildings.
The Super Sapper: Saps all enemy buildings at once.
Along with a flame and bullet proof suit, Spies need to be able to kill everything without taking any damage.
Now I really want the Homewrecker. All I got is this dumb Pain Train.
Ha, on any other class that homewrecker buff would be awesome but they're just trying to piss spies off now :v:
Good job on the cloak fix though.
So? If you were lit on fire before, you were already screwed. If the Engineer had another Engineer to watch his back, your sappers were already screwed. It's called teamwork. This just gives Pyros more incentive to help Engineers out, a job he's been able to do since the beginning.
With an engineer it's "Oh my stuff is getting sapped, gonna take out that spy/ better repair my stuff then get that spy!" With a pyro it'll be "Oh there's a sapper *flail about with flamethrower near thing, forcing spy to leave or die* Okay time to get rid of that thing". I don't mind two engies, that's reasonable.
Remember, Pyros can't REPAIR sapped stuff.
Though that barely makes much of a difference.
Now I really want the Homewrecker. All I got is this dumb Pain Train.
I got all 3 community items :smug:
I have all 4 community items :smug:
Crit-a-Cola is community, correct? :raise:
The homewrecker buff increased the size of the leash that binds the engineer to his base. after all didnt valve want the engineer to stretch out a bit?
"Heya, uh, Pyro, ya' mind watchin' mah stuff fer me while I got out and blast that stupid look right off their dumb faces?"
"*nod*"
Being a Pybro will be like 10 times more awesome.
I know I won't rage so much while playing as Spy because most Pyros don't like to be Pyrobros to the engies.
I like to play tennis with spies, airblast them to the sky over and over again and watch them get annoyed.
I am going to be the World's Friendliest Pyro. :neckbeard:

Only If you don't attack spycrabs.
Remember, it may end up being a hindrance to the engineer in some situations.
Apparently the homewrecker only knocks off the sapper on one end of a teleporter.
Only If you don't attack spycrabs.
Never. I will never harm a Spy crab.
Pyro just got a new way to be credit to team. And it's amazingly awesome.
:D
Does anyone know how much damage it makes to the sapper?
FIXED CLOAK!

It destroys the sapper.
In one hit.
Pyro + Engineer = Instant Win.
Maybe the hammer Engie' had in that "coming soon" video was a hint towards the Homewrecker buff?
Also, I never realized it before, but VALVe has always been hinting towards Pyro being a robot built by the engineer, he has his glove as a hat, in Meet The Spy one of the alert signs reads "is a robot" in reference to pyro, and his massive synergy with engineer.

He isn't a robot.
He's just a very, VERY good friend.
Because if that's so, they have been also hinting towards hes either a male or a female, so I guess we'll never know.

No, but come to think of it, I have all 6. Sam & Max's items were contibuted by telltale.
I was so sure I had like 8 homewreckers. I'm as now :(
Why the fuck is the update so big? It's 700mb
