It's amazing to think that once Pyro was just some crazy ol' firebug who scorched the earth for fun. Ok, so he still is to an extent, but he's changed so much in recent years. He can transform Huntsmans into Super Flareguns, he can use powerful winds to blow away his enemies and the flames of his evil twin, and now he's capable of protecting the buildings of his redneck friends.
He's grown up quite a bit over 3 years, becoming big credit to teeny team. He truly is a Pybro nowadays, changed a lot, almost beyond recognition from the simple "Child of Chaos" he was 3 years ago.
Also, if you're all still perplexed by the large size of the recent update, here's an important pointer: check the whole dang GCF. It may be a month late, but we can still go on an Easter Egg hunt. You never know what you'll find...

I checked for new files.
I checked for EVERYTHING, from animations to sounds to tiny textures, Nothing has changed.
There must be something else that took so much space.

This is indeed a large mystery. We've probably definitely missed something here... We've GOTTA have missed something. Why else would the recent update be larger than the Heavy's... I got nothin'.

Its either just a steam bug (It reinstalls all updates regardless of what updates you already had installed) or...well... I'm out of ideas.
Fucking engineers hiding 80 megs in mah GCFs
Any decent pyro would use axetinguisher or normal axe over the homewrecker anyway. It's just too conditional.
Check the total size of the GCF against other people's GCF's. For example, my update was like 50kb. My TF2 GCF's are:
1. team fortress 2 client content.gcf - 21,808 kb
2. team fortress 2 content.gcf - 3,328,298 kb.
3. team fortress 2 materials.gcf - 1,713,135
My update had 87MB. I don't know what are you talking about.
