Since we're talking about flamethrowers... I run with the Stock Flamer, the Shotgun and either the Homewrecker or the 3rd Degree. Never had any problem with this set. I just burn and run, harassing lit players with the Shotgun. Shotgun is almost always out for me as in some situations, it out damages the Flamethrower. As for Flare Guns, I'm Detonator all the way. Either getting mini-crits or resetting the afterburn with a detonation. I barely use the Melee with Pyro, unless I want to ambush from a corner and I don't want my flamethrower sticking out of it. Homewrecker saved countless buildings and crushed many teles, dispensers and minis. The 3rd Degree is just for those pocketing Medics who think they can get away with pocketing. Think again and fear my linked random crit to the face (or beam? I dunno). I like to use the Degreaser from time to time but for some odd reason I can't get my finger on... it's weird to use for me. Yes, the speed saved me loads of times but I ended up being a Shotgun Pyro more then an actual pyromaniac. I fell like it should be a lot weaker then the rest of them (around 10-20% less damage) because it's a combo-oriented weapon AKA changes the vanilla playstyle of the class (like the Huntsman or the FaN) Everyone who uses the Degreaser or fought Degreaser Pyros will notice that most of them rarely go on frontal assaults. They go around, picking up lone, specific players and eliminating them. Especially with the Flare Gun's and Axtinguisher's Crit-On-Demand mechanic. Degreaser Pyros don't need the raw power of their primary since its outmatched by the two weapons I just mentioned. And while where here talking about the throwers, why not making the Backburner less damaging from the front but more from the back (and changing the angle of detection). I dunno, it's been change quite a few times. Just threw this out while were in the subject. I'm done. Get me an extinguisher. My cat is on fire for no reason.

So let's hope the Pyro gets the same treatmant.

I don't want to be rude, but look at the first 27 hats. They have a far more consistent style with them. I like them better :/ although I'm pretty sure I don't have any valve weapons, or hats :v:

was anyone else watching adult swim? i caught the tail end of a bump the had text that was just black with white outline, slightly covered with police tape with police sirens playing in the background. what caught my attention was after all that it said the "this bump was murdered june 22". just wondering if anyone caught the black text because the tv i was watching has a horrible screen. figured with the june 22nd thing it might have something to do with valve.
