They were given the Australium to fuel the rocket ship, but Hale replaced the Australium and ran with it. This is where the Teams come in. One Team transports the suitcases that are full of gravel water and empties it into the rocket that Poopy Joe's on. It explodes. In the latest script, either the Administrator or Ms. Pauling tells the Senators why they stole the Australium. We don't know why yet.
admittedly I can't help but feel a little annoyed that we went through 6 months of waiting, the ARG, and the mysterious mmphing morse code; only to be told wait [I]another[/I] 3 days. I mean you could argue "Oh well it's only three days." but it was "only three days" friday of last week. This update had better be crammed to the gills with weapons and maps, and actual stuff that impacts gameplay

Sure we'd already have the items, but Weta would want their advertising, this is why they do it.

Rewatching all the Meet the videos made me think. How are they gonna top the others? How would the video even go?
I just made the connection that "gravel water" is deuterium, and Saxton Hale literally turned Poopy Joe's rocket into a fucking hydrogen bomb.

The fact that we already know this much about this game makes it harder to come up with an explanation as to why this would happen again, that why I think it's a one map deal.

It will mean day 2 and 3 will have to be crammed, Day 2 with the weapons and hats or sets, Day 3 will have the pyro's new gear and MTP, and then there's something big happening that's relevant to MTP on the day. If you're hoping for MvM, a new map, or Grordbort items, that's a lot of content to share with two already big days, it just makes little sense to have Day 1 about one thing. Maybe the rest of the update couldn't be split up, or they'll add extra days, because it is suppose to be a massive update, Tobor might be a twist and take us on another rollercoaster.

Nathan lives very close to Valve, which is probably why he has the most lines. Grant lives about 2 hours away from Valve (drove through his town, once).

I was thinking, since every "Meet the" short will be now done, do you think Valve will still make big updates with some form of video to go along with them? Probably heavily TF2 lore based.
